Sleep | Wake Up Alarm - Sounds & Vibrations only on Apple Watch ~ No Sounds & Vibrations on iPhone
I purchased my iPhone 12 (currently on iOS 15.1.1) mid 2021 last year and have been using the "Sleep | Wake Up" alarm since the first night. This is the alarm associated with the "Sleep Schedule" function in the "Health" app. The alarm sound I've fallen in love with is titled "First Light." My wife loves it, I love it, and my 6 month old son loves it. It's not intrusive, but peaceful and a warm welcome to the new day. It woke me up every morning without fail.
I purchased my Apple Watch Series 7 (currently on Version 8.3 [19S55]) for Christmas last year. I wanted to replace my FitBit and so far I love everything about this watch. Except for ONE thing.
I use the sleep monitoring feature on my Apple Watch every night. It's important for me as I continue to better myself and my health. Now, here is where my issue arises. But, before I continue, please understand that I've already done some research on this topic. Below are links to articles that I've already read and investigated deeply:

There were other similar articles, but they all had the same answer that ultimately says this:
"When you wear your Apple Watch to bed, the alarm will go off on your watch."
That is to say, the alarm on my iPhone no longer makes sound or vibrates. Only my Apply Watch makes sounds and vibrates.
PROBLEM: The vibration and sounds on my Apple Watch are turned to the max. Like most other humans I sleep under multiple layers of sheets and blankets at night. The last three nights the alarm has failed to wake me up. The vibration on the watch is next to nothing for this alarm. The sound on the watch is muffled by the layers of sheets and blankets.
Let me repeat this: The last three nights the alarm has failed to wake me up.
I understand I can make an additional alarm on my iPhone to circumnavigate this issue. Guess what, the alarm sounds available are all loud and extremely obnoxious. My 6 month old does not find these entertaining and its a guaranteed bad start to the day for me, my wife, and my son.

I understand through my research that there is no option to have the "Sleep | Wake Up" alarm go off on both devices. This makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. Apple has effectively made this product pair worse. Does that make sense? Again, allow me to repeat this one last time...
The last three nights the alarm has failed to wake me up....this is not good for my employment
I have three questions:
- Why has it been designed as such that I can't choose to play the "Sleep | Wake Up" alarm on both my phone and watch?
- Assuming Apple just refuses to allow the above option to happen, why can't I used the "First Light" alarm sound when creating a standard alarm not associated with the "Sleep | Wake Up" alarm?
- Considering I am human, and we all make mistakes, have I just over looked something?
Below I've posted screenshots of my iPhone and Apple Watch for reference.
