Dropbox app dmg won't open on my new Monterey MacBook Pro
New clean MacBoo Pro. Redownloading all my apps. Downloaded the Dropbox dmg file. but it won't open. Something I should now?

I accidentally discovered that when I clicked on the downloaded DropboxInstall DMG file it opened a new "device" in my finder (rather than a new window on my screen), where I'd never expected to look. Once I clicked on it there, the Dropbox app installed itself.. So thanks. John Galt? Really?
