iCloud files become 0 bytes and not accessible

Hi all,

I suddenly found that the files on iCloud drive become 0 bytes and not accessible anymore. I didn't delete them and they were uploaded 2 months ago.

I also checked "recently deleted" on iCloud but couldn't find anything there.

May I know what have happened and how can I recover the files? Thanks!

Hello Nokmannn,

Thanks for posting in Apple Support Communities. We understand that you are missing iCloud Drive data.

Are you able to restore files from the iCloud website? Navigate here: https://www.icloud.com/settings/

You should see an option to "Restore Files" in the lower left-hand corner.

If not, we recommend reaching out to Apple Support directly: Contact - Official Apple Support

Take care.
