Apple Mail redirect and forward rules

I am trying to redirect all mail received from an Outlook365 account I access successfully through Apple Mail to a Gmail account. I have tried several different rules variants, and nothing seems to work reliably:

  1. If ANY rule matches: Account [my Outlook365 account], Then redirect or forward to ***
  2. If ANY rule matches: To contains my outlook365 email address, Then redirect or forward to ***

No luck. A few messages come through, but not all. I'm guessing the second rule fails because the header might be looking at a distribution list address rather than searching all of the message headers (which would be what I *think* needs to happen).

And I have placed this Rule as the first rule in Apple Mail preferences.

Help?

Stephen,

You may also be able to forward or redirect your messages by adjusting the settings for your Outlook account: Use rules to automatically forward messages

If you need further assistance with those options, you’ll want to reach out to Microsoft: Contact Us - Microsoft Support They’d be in the best position to help with their particular email service.

Regards.

Hello Stephen,

Thanks for reaching out through the Apple Support Communities about further customizing your Mail rules.

To verify, are the messages that don’t get forwarded being sent via a distribution list?

If so, you may be able to add additional conditions to recognize those distribution lists, if they come from a recurring address or a specific domain.

Take care.

Thanks - that's true, it might improve things a bit, but I'm on a lot of distribution lists, and what I'm really trying to do is forward or redirect (preferably redirect) every email that comes into account #1 (my Outlook365 account) to account #2. No exceptions.

Is there a rule that can do that? I thought that the first instance I tried above (If account is my Outlook365 account, then forward/redirect) should work, but it doesn't.
