MacBook Pro Clamshell mode for latest 2021 model does not work the same as the before model.

Hi, I have a 2021 Macbook Pro M1 Max model. I use to have my 2016 model with an external monitor in clamshell mode. I only need to connect the power and the MacBook Pro will be turned on without any steps.

#1 Now with the 2021 model after it is connected to the power adapter. I will have to open the lips to start the Mac. It is very annoying. Especially I am using BookArc. Any plan to fix it?

#2 If I turn off the external monitor, the Macbook will go to sleep. Any way to avoid that? I can keep my 2016 model running even if the external monitor is off as long as the power is connected.
