iPad Content Restrictions Blocks Games

I’m trying to “Limit Adult Websites” through the “Content Restrictions” under “Screen Time” for my 8 year old. Although, when I enable the “Content and Privacy Restrictions”, we no longer have access to a number of our games including Roblox, Leo’s Fortune, Minecraft etc.

Is there not some way to limit what my child can access on the internet without blocking his games?

Hi GasolineRainbow, We appreciate you reaching out to us. We understand that your games are affected by the restrictions that you set for web contents.

We’d like to gather additional details that may help us be in a better position to assist you. Are you using the same steps under the "Prevent web content" section in the article below?

Use parental controls on your child's iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

If yes, we recommend that you make sure that you are using the latest version of iOS 14 or the latest version iOS 15.

While it isn't inherently assured that an update will resolve the issue, updating to the latest version of iOS for your device can help isolate potential software issues.

Kindly secure a backup and update.

How to back up your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Then, disable parental control, then set it up again.

Take care!
