Podcasts Taking Up Too Much Storage

Can you help me free up storage space on my phone? The Podcast app is taking up 66GB! I’d like to see that closer to zero.

FYI, I have turned off “automatic” downloads and clicked “remove downloads” for each podcast (one by one).

However, Podcast app is still taking up 66GB on my phone.

delete podcast app off ipad?it says its taking up 17.89 GB of my 64 GB. I I know you can’t really delete the podcast app. But it says it is taking up 17.89 GB of my 64 GB on my iPad. I have deleted all individual episodes listed. I don’t understand what could possibly be making it that big since I don’t ever remember using it on anything other than my phone. iPhone storage I need more storage on my iPhone to upgrade to iOS15. I notice that Podcasts use a lot of storage: App size: 15.4 MB Documents and Data: 4.77 GB I deleted all the downloaded episodes I could find but the size of Documents and Data has barely budged. What is represented by these 4.77GB of documents and data and can I delete some of it to get more storage? Thank you
