Apple TV

I connect my apple TV to the television via a HDMI cable and the television says no signal. The apple TV is plugged in and the white light on the Apple TV is flashing. Is there something else I need to do?

A continuously flashing status light means that it is unable to start up properly. You may need to have the system software re-installed. As you can’t navigate the menus at this time, you would have to do the restore procedure externally, tethered to a computer. How that is done, depends on the exact model that you have.
