I would not use one. There is no need. The screen is not a touch screen so what ar eyou protecting it from. Dust will settle on the screen protector as much as it will settle on the screen.

The only issue is the celarance between the screen and keypad. There are issues of screen cracking since the clearance is very tight so be careful.

I did put screen protector on my MacBook Air as well which doesn't hurt anything.
I already removed mine for me to have peace of mind + it leaves some sticky parts on the edges of my macbook so I cleaned it well a while ago with soft cloth so it is in good condition now. thanks for replying!
