It would be a "huge" problem if a significant percentage of iPhone users were concerned with it. That doesn't seem to be the case. Given that iPhones have worked this way for years, I don't see much likelihood that it will change unless there is a groundswell of feedback.

It usually is the other person hangs up first while I'm in motion to hang up. It dials the next person and I hang up from that call. Then they see they missed a call from me and call me back.

Bottom line? We bought into the Apple hype. Now it seems we are stuck with the BS and no solution.

If I change to other brand (which I don't want), this will be the cause.. Extremely frustrating! It's my business phone.

I have this problem for many years. Not only when someone just ends the call at the moment you want to, but also when the phone screen is left on when you lay down the iphone and next time you pick up the phone, face is recognized, it opens the last screen and your thumb is accidentally touching the screen and dialing.

I believe this should be very easy to solve, either by a confirmation popping up when you touch a recent caller or someone in your phone or favorites list, saying "Confirm you want to call John Doe?" or by limiting the selection area on the screen using a button to call someone, for example:

Maybe both options should then be available, so anyone can select their preference. Just a note: picture is was picked randomly from the internet as an example only. Oh, and I leave the design to Apple...

disable phone screen for half a second after other party ends call…that’s all I need - half a second.

Terrible answer, the phone still initiated a call no matter how fast you hit the red button after it start a second call.

This is my single biggest gripe about my iPhone. Such an egregious design flaw is enough to make me seriously consider switching to Android.

Yes- happening to me all the time and totally out of the blue. Including mistakenly calling my boss at late hour.

Super frustrating. Why have you been getting comments on this for over a year, and still not fixed this??

Apple is so pathetic with its product development. Yes we have new 3d goggles, but they can't fix a little problem like this. APPLE PATHETIC.

I’ve switched to using the side power button to hang up. Unless you have disabled this feature
