Apple app is not working anymore

The apple app is not working anymore on my smart tv, this problem exists in the last couple of months, at first I thought it was a temporary server issue/software update issue but as days were passing and even by updating the app to newer versions and with the app still now working I realized that something else is going on here. It shows the apple logo and after a couple of minutes it says "Network Unavailable. There were errors with this connection. Wait a moment, then try again". There is a reload button but it goes through the same flow, same result.


And yes the tv is properly connected to the internet, all other apps work just fine, tv has been restarted etc I have tried everything.
