Internet issue in MacOS and Parallels Desktop

I am using Windows 10 in Parallels to play Guild Wars 2. and everything is fine there. However, it seems that after exiting Parallels, I can't use any browsers of other Internet apps at all. I'm on a 2017 iMac with the most current Monterey OS. Speed test on Parallels indicates about 40 Mbits (AT&T) and the Mac can't recognize anything about the connection. Go back into the VM and all is fine. Any suggestions on what this is would be appreciated. I can turn the iMac off and restart and its all fine again.
