I can Zoom on my iPad using AirPods.
or, I can Zoom Airplay'ing the iPad Zoom onto an Apple TV for a large display.
But I can't seem to Airplay the Zoom video to the Apple TV AND use the AirPods connected to the iPad. The audio seems to go to the TV as well as the video. Same problem if I use the iPhone as the Zoom source.
Is there a way to Zoom streaming the video to the TV, AND use the AirPods for 2-way audio?
I've used Zoom on a Mac with AirPods for 2-way audio. I assume you could mirror the Mac's display to the Apple TV using AirPlay but I'm not sure if the mirroring would redirect the playback to the Apple TV.
Another option, would be to use the AirPods for playback only and an internal (or external) mic for input. In that case, the AirPods could be directly connected to the Apple TV (via Bluetooth).
Possibly an even easier option is to connect your TV as an external monitor (via HDMI) and direct Zoom to use it (I believe Zoom has a 2 monitor mode).
