How to resize a macOS partition???

Hewwo ^^. I had macOS Monterey installed, but needed some packages that didn't work on it. And I put 10.14 on a separate partition. After installing Mojave, Monterey stopped working for some reason. I've been with 10.14 for a while and wanted to delete the macOS 12 partition, and resize the 10.14 partition to 250gb, so I can upgrade to 12 later :/. How I can do it? (sorry if something is unclear)

Disk Utility>View>Show All Devices...

It is unclear from your screen shot if this a 'Partition' or a simply a 'Volume' sharing space within the Container...(?)

This statement does not clarify the issue...

If Disk Utility is not playing nice in trying to merge/ restore storage space/ deleted partitions...the way to resolve the issue is

—erase/reformat/initialize the 'parent' drive as new (top most)

—reinstall the macOS,

—reinstall your user data/account from backup
