Bluetooth third party accessories iPhone 13

Upgraded to new iPhone 13’s. Both my and my husband’s iPhone 13’s are not “seeing” third party Bluetooth devices e.g. JBL Speaker, car. They pick up and work with AirPods and apple computers. Apple support has been helpful working through all the troubleshooting but at this point it was attributed to a manufacturer issue (JBL/car company) I’ve seen this issue elsewhere in the community. Surely it is something to do with the iPhone 13’s?!

Three Thoughts:

A. iPhone Bluetooth:

Try the troubleshooting tips at this link:

B. Restore from a Backup:

Did you create a backup, prior to installing this update? If so, restore from it. If not, then take this as a learning experience knowing to always backup your iPhone. That way you can have something to restore your Mac from, should anything go working with the install.

C. Provide Apple Feedback:

Do your Part. Seeing similar posts, this seems to be a common issue. Hence, most certainly a bug. So, inform Apple of this bug - Apple won't get back to you directly, but the more feedback they receive on this, the more they will know what bugs are occurring and what needs to be fixed.

How to Give Feedback:

  1. Go Here: Feedback - iPhone - Apple
  2. Select: "Bug Report" for "Feedback Type"
  3. Inform Apple: of how you came across this issue, and how you've troubleshot it thus far.
  4. Proceed from there as necessary
