Volume not controlling in-app volume

In an app, the volume is as loud as can be, no matter which volume setting my phone is on, unless is turned all the way down to mute. Has anyone else encountered this issue?

I’m using an iPhone 12 with 15.2.1.

Hello,

Hmm, I've never seen that issue. I don't know the solution, but here are some thing to try:

1) Restart the phone

2) See this: Adjust the volume on iPhone

3) Speakers: If you hear no sound or distorted sound from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch speaker

4) Test with the Voice Memos app.

5) Have it checked: Apple - Find Locations

Good luck.
