Sending messages on a macbook when you have multiple AppleIDs on one profile.

If I use a work computer with a work Apple ID, is there a way I can still use my personal Apple ID on this computer, and send SMS or iMessages through an online portal?

iMessage on my new MacMini My iMessage works for "all" phone texting/messaging on my MacBook Air, but now that I have my new MacMini up and running, it is only sending to iPhone users and it is timing out on Non-iPhone messages / texts. I have confirmed all devices are on the same iCloud accounts and I have looked at the settings on my MacBook Air and compared them to my MacMini, and it does not seem to be any different on the settings. How do I enable iMessages if I have 2 separate Apple IDs between devices? I purchased and use my new Macbook Pro for my faculty university position; complete with it's own Apple ID. However, my personal devices are utilized through my personal Apple ID. How can I sync both together to enable iMessages on my new laptop?

Have iMessages on two different Mac accounts Hello, I have one phone number, and two accounts on my MacBook Pro, one personal (with my long-time personal iCloud account attached to my number), and a work account, dedicated to working ethics etc. I wanted to see if there is a way to have my imessages work on my work account WITHOUT using my personal iCloud account, or if there are any workarounds to not bringing my personal iCloud info into my work account such as pictures, calendars, notes, etc.

Try going to Messages/Preferences/Accounts and click the + sign at the bottom left to add your personal Apple ID. Once you have created the account, select it to make sure it is enabled in the right panel. In order to make things easy, you may have to go to Preferences and disable the account you don't want to use when you want to send messages from the other account.
