Voice Memos

After a IOS update in Fall 2021 I suddenly found my old voice memos had been wiped out. They were not deleted. Voice Memos were selected to back up to iCloud and have been for years. After this IOS update ALL voice memos before 2021 were wiped out. This is not “customer deleted voice memos” situation this is an IOS update error that I woke up too after update was completed. They are not anywhere to be found. Not something I would expect from an Apple IOS update as now countless priceless recordings are missing. Is Apple doing something to fix this or do I have to find a way to get it back myself?

You should be able to restore them from the backup.
