I want to turn off the command+I hotkey in safari. This is the Italics hotkey on a webpage I use regularly yet Safari has this as the Email This Page hotkey that opens the mail app (bonus points if you can tell me how to get rid of that app!).
Its a ridiculous hotkey assignment as command+I is universally known as the shortcut for italics!
MacBook Air 11″, macOS 10.15
Try doing these steps:
Go in System Preferences -> Keyboard -> Shortcuts -> App Shortcuts
Add through the + button an application shortcut choosing:
Application Safari
Menu Title Email This Page
Keyboard Shortcut Any keyboard combination as long as is not interfering with your preferred shortcuts
