Apple TV website on PC- Apple TV+ Login

I am currently subscribed to Apple TV+ and am able to watch on my iPad, but I wanted to watch on my PC using Chrome but when I go to Apple TV+ it does not let me access my subscription... only says "start 7-day free trial" even though I can simultaneously watch Apple TV+ shows on my iPad because I am subscribed... I even went to Apple TV settings in my browser and it confirmed that I am subscribed but the content access was not aligned with that statement... when I click on the head symbol on the top right it says "Sign out" which confirms that I am signed in; so: WHY???

We understand you're trying to watch Apple TV+ on your PC, but have been unable to since it shows you're not subscribed. We'd be happy to provide information to help you address this.

Check to see which Apple ID is signed in on your iPad by going to Settings > ["Your Name"] > Media & Purchases and tap view account. It's possible that the Apple ID signed in for iCloud and the one signed in for purchases is different.

This did not solve my problem… when I clicked view account it showed my Apple ID at the top and that is the only account

I have so they are both signed in to the same iCloud account.
