Mac OS Mail messages blank

Hello,

I seem to have found a bug in Mac Mail - messages I receive from certain senders come through and appear entirely blank in Mac Mail. Others can view them just fine, and if I view the message on my phone, on the web, in Gmail, or other places, they show up just fine, however on my Mac they show up entirely blank (with the message "this message has no content")

If I view message source, the content and text ARE present, so they are coming through - it appears to be an issue with how they are rendered.

What do you have checked in Mail>Preferences>Privacy?

If all not uncheked try unchecking all.

I don't know what app, but it appears to be from a few different recipients.

The messages all appear to have the common trend of being text messages, but having a URL link in them - so no image, but a URL is present.

As best as I can tell, it involves messages that come through with "multipart/alternative" and the message is present under the "text/plain" section NOT the "text/html", so it appears that Mac Mail is rendering/showing the blank text/html section.

It looks like this may have been reported/known by others as well, see

I found also if I save the message and view it in Outlook on Mac it is also rendered as blank, but in Gmail on the Web it renders correctly.
