I keep getting a "Sign in to iTunes store" pop up message on my mac. None of my passwords work even after changing my ID?


Please help

Thank you for posting in Apple Support Communities! From our understanding, the App Store on your Mac is asking you to sign into your Apple ID, however, it is not accepting your password even after changing it, do we have that right? Are you able to sign into the manage Apple ID site here: Apple ID?


Have you tried entering your old Apple ID password and then entering the new one?

Thank you for that information. What macOS do you have installed on your Mac? Is it up to date? In iTunes, of you go to Accounts, are you able to sign out of your Apple ID? If so, we'd recommend signing out, closing the app out completely and then signing back in to see if this continues to occur.
