iPhone 6S Plus disabled

Hi, help needed. My iPhone 6S Plus is disabled and it asking to connect to iTunes. Now I googled how to by-pass this since I don't have a Macbook (doesn't work with iTunes for Windows) and there was a suggestion to remove it from my devices on iCloud. I did that but the iPhone is still disabled. Any ideas? Thanks

If you get that message you must be on iOS 15.1 or earlier. Had your phone been up to date you could have clicked on Erase iPhone bottom right of the screen.

You need to use a computer or visit a Genius bar.

Passcode forgotten, Locked, iPhone unavailable and Disabled

You can sometimes remedy this without a computer if on iOS 15.2 or later, but you will still need the Apple ID password
