Cannot refresh page on iPad Air model A1474.

Presumably you are having trouble with refreshing web-pages from your Safari browser?
You should be able to refresh the page using the Refresh button that you find in your Safari address bar:
If the page will not refresh, force close the Safari App - and reopen.

Thank you for your interest and advice. Only I find it almost impossible to articulate what the problem was. I have been using safari to access a particular retail grocery site during the pandemic, 2 years or so, and everything seemed fine until more recently when I could not log in as the web page was asking me to refresh page. But what I did in the end was to go to the App Store and download the app onto my desk top and now everything seems ok. Some of the confusion is that the icon in my favourites bar is a different version and my daughter told me it cannot be an app. Thanks again. I am appreciative of discussions Apple and sure to try and use it again.
