Numbering photos iphone

what will happen to the numbering of the photos when the end of the series is reached (IMG_9999). ? Will my iphone then overwrite the first photos?

No. Your photos will not be overwritten. After you hit photo 9999 then then it will continue on to 10000 and beyond.

PHOTOS: DUPLICATES Hi! I changed from an Android to an iPhone. I used an external app for copying the photos. For some reason now I have duplicate photos with (1), (2) upto (14).
