I need to update my OS from Mojave to Catalina, although the update is recommending to update to Monterey. However, I'm getting the error message Storage system verify or repair failed (-69716).
any advice? I'm guessing I never updated from Mojave when recommended to do so...probably because I got the same error message and never resolved.

Hey y’all. So I tried everything, and I mean EVERYTHING I could find online for this issue to no avail. I tried Apple support and they couldn’t figure it out either. Took it into Apple for them to diagnose it, they ended up wiping the hard drive & installing Monterey (no charge btw) and now it works fine. 🤷♀️
