Is there a way to reset an IPad where it clears the Apple ID?
I have an IPad that needs reset. The problems is it is asking for the Apple ID assigned to it. The email no longer exists so the ID no longer exists.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It would seem that you have encountered Activation Lock which is a theft prevention feature. Without the Apple ID and Password of the person who set up the iPad, you will not be able to use it. We can't help and Apple will not unless you can provide the original receipt clearly showing the serial number. Check this link...
