i want to get rid of Memories or at least disable

how to disable or get rid of memories that i photos generates, they can be disturbing to say the least

How to disable memories? More of a comment and question. I DO NOT wish to have “memories” I do not wish to remember popping up when I do not want them. Especially photos of my dead dog, past relationships, and places I don’t want reminders of. Some memories are not good and I do not want a machine sorting these and putting them in a place where I do not want to see them. Anyone know how to side step this until gets this feature removed? How do I disable Memories in Photos? The title says it all. I want to stop Apple from coming into my home and rearranging my furniture against my will. Photos on my iPhone are mine and mine alone, and nobody has my permission to index them. This is on every Apple device in my family, not just my 6s, and I need it disabled.
