I am unable to access some songs from certain albums on apple music. Can someone explain what is the cause of this?

If I’m not mistaken, changing regions won’t affect Music unless you cancel and re-subscribe. Be aware that canceling is like starting over, your library including playlists will be lost. Contact Apple https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201232 to confirm, and yes, it’ll work fine with US set. Good luck!
