Peacock App on Apple TV consistently stops in the middle of a show.

I'm paying for Peacock (with ads). It would appear that when it's time to go to a commercial, the app struggles to call/load the ad to display on the screen. The screen just goes black. I need to back out to the Peacock home screen, where I can re-load the previously crashed show where it left off.


Is anyone else having this issue? This issue is currently affecting both of my Apple TVs (both are 5th gen 4k models)

Looks like you are having trouble with just one app on your Apple TV’s, we’d like to see if we can help get this resolved.


Is it only this one app on each Apple TV? Have you checked to see if there are any updates for the app? Look at section “Set up automatic updates or installation” found in Apple TV User Guide – Purchase and download apps on Apple TV.


Should it be only this one app, and there are no updates, you may want to try deleting the app and redownloading it to see if a fresh new copy of the app will make a difference. If you see no change, you will want to reach out to the developer and let them know what’s happening. See How to contact an app developer.
