MacBookPro10,1 thunderbolt port confusion.

I recently inherited an old MacBook Pro (10,1 Retina, Mid-2012) (my mum upgraded her MacBook Pro, so I have upgraded my 2009 Unibody 17" MacBook Pro!)

I've bought a USB 3.0 peripheral, not realising that the "new" MacBook Pro only has 2.0

But it has two thunderbolt ports.

Is there such a thing as a thunderbolt v1 hub that I can connect my USB 3.0 device to?

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

Hi,

USB 3.0 downward compatible, so you can connect USB3.0 peripherals to USB2.0 ports.
