So, the user control (pin # to control printing) is a minimum 5 to 8 character numeric code. Previous MacOS version were fine. Monterey, for some unfathomable reason decided to limit the "Pin Code" field to only 4 characters. I've got multiple users on new Macs that can't print to this device now. The client needs to maintain user tracking for bill back to several tenants in a we-work type environment.

Good google work there. I would have NEVER thought to look in the printer manual. And yes, I know that the printer drivers are written by Sharp and not Apple. And yes, I have reached out to Sharp, with no answer yet. I was hoping by posting here that a user with actual firsthand information might respond. The royal "we" reply is hardly useful. But I'm sure the reply bumps your community count. Good on you.
