Facetime not working

So, my boyfriend has an older Iphone until he can get his new one soon. We were favetiming earlier today and then he updated his phone to 15.2.1 I believe. after this, it’s not letting me facetime him, rather it’s not letting me start the facetime. he can call me but i cannot call him. Any ideas?

I’m unable to FaceTime one person I have this one contact I cannot FaceTime on my iPhone, but I can FaceTime with my iPad. On her end, she can only FaceTime me on my iPad as well & not my iPhone. I have the option to FaceTime her on my iPhone but it never goes through. It would ring for sometime and then present the message “FaceTime unavailable”. I initially thought it was our phones but she upgraded her phone and it still wouldn’t go through. I’ve tried everything I know but to no avail. Does anyone know how I can fix this?

FaceTime not showing on a Contact From my iPad or iPhone I used to be able to initiate a FaceTime call with my son who has an iPad but NOT an iPhone. I can no longer do this and yet “Video” is not greyed out on his contact. There is no “Add FaceTime” in his contact details either. When he calls me, I click on the green “accept” button but the screen immediately goes black with just his initials shown centre screen in a 🟢 and I can’t connect. What could have changed?

iPad won’t receive FaceTime whereas the iPhone will. I tried to call my friend on her iPad, however it keeps going to the phone, she can’t receive FaceTime on her iPad. However what is really bizarre is that she can call me on her iPad using FaceTime. She gets messages on both devices and emails on both devices. What am I missing as she want to be able to use her iPad as her FaceTime device and leave the phone for texting etc.

Let me tell you that this has nothing to do with iOS 15.2.1 else millions would have been affected.
