restore factory setting even if icloud is not finish uploading
what will happen if i just went and reset my phone even if icloud is not yet done uploading the data and document? my phone is stuck at 56% and it has not moved eversince

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. Based on your post, you'd like to know if you can restore your iPhone to factory settings, even though iCloud has not completed an upload.
What is iCloud uploading exactly? You mentioned data and documents. Are these files in iCloud Drive? Tell us more about the upload.
If iCloud is simply uploading content that's recently been added to your device (not in the process of restoring iCloud data), you should be able to Restart your iPhone and test if that pushes iCloud to sync.
In case iCloud is restoring data to the device, we would not recommend restoring to factory settings. Restoring to factory settings without a completed iCloud backup would prevent you from restoring the device from an iCloud backup. Any new files would not be synced. You would only have the option to restore from an older backup in time (if one was completed in the past).
Tips: If you're using a VPN or security software, we'd recommend to disable them and restart the device, as these may be blocking the connection.
Stay connected to Wi-Fi to complete the upload process to iCloud.
