My safari app on my macbook does not let me click anything on the app, even after I force quit it. It also does not let me restart or clear history from the app, what do I do?

Hello sandhya02,

Thanks for reaching out using Apple Support Communities!

We understand the Safari app is not responding properly on your Mac.

A normal restart of the Mac might help quickly resolve the issue.

If the issue remains, use these steps If an app on your Mac stops responding, closes unexpectedly, or won’t open - Apple Support

Even though the title doesn't exactly match the issue, these steps will be the best to take for the app not working normally.

We hope this can help get Safari working perfectly again for you.

Cheers!
