So I am part of a family sharing with me, my sister and mom. My mom is the organizer. My mom let me buy something off my favorite game but it told me I needed to verify the card with CVV. I was at my dad so I called and she didn’t know so she told me two wrong ones than finally she checked it for the right one but all it’s saying is that I need my organizer to put a different method. Why can’t I just confirm the right CVV?

It might be a security measure. The cardholder should review their payment method (see Change, add, or remove Apple ID payment methods - Apple Support), they may not actually need to change it. You will likely need the CVV the next time you try to make a purchase.
