CALENDAR: ALL birthdays doubled in iCloud, iOS and Big Sur (just installed)

Every single birthday shows twice in the Calendar in both macOS Big Sur and iOS and iCloud.

This started after installing Big Sur on my Mac.

Can you help? :)

Actually the REAL problem was that the install had doubled ALL of my contacts. (I didn't realise)

I went on iCloud settings and chose to Restore my Contacts from a slightly earlier date… and voila! All fixed! :)

Apple's iCloud service is just brilliant! :)

We understand that in the Calendar app on your devices you’re seeing each birthday listed twice and that duplication has synced across all devices, including the iCloud website.

We’d like to have you check the steps in the following article If you have duplicate events on your iCloud Calendar.
