setting Flight mode with Apple configurator

Is it possible to put multiple iPads into F?light mode with Apple Configurator 2?

we need to do this when changing iPad Wifi passwords.

I know you can remove profiles, which may be a way to stop them trying to connect with the wrong password.

I can't find this feature in Configurator

Cheers

Mark

Apple is doing it in house now. There are 2 options within Apple to have a better solution than configurator. The first is Profile Manager from macOS Server. If you set it up properly, you can use it as a full MDM. Apple also has Apple Business Essentials.

Mosyle is very affordable, starting at $1/device/month (for Education, they have a free version, and the premium version is as low as $0.42/device per month). There are other platforms that require more work, but are free, such as SimpleMDM.

Yes we do use a wifi profile to manage passwords and certificates. Wehave a 60 day life on the passwords. We are managing 80 iPads if we don’t put them into Airplane mode the large number of connection requests with th wrong password causes the account to be locked by the authentication system.

We normally have to manually put each one into Flight Mode, and then replace the WiFi profile with the new password. Obviously it would be good to Automate this.

It seems strange to me that configurator does not have this functionality.
