When I go to open apple music i get the error message
app.js[2031:72] Error
Any help in fixing this would be greatly appreciated

Apple support assisted me (HOORAY!) after I was on the phone with them for 1.25 hours and advanced from basic support to the highest super user.
The first and second levels of engineering help were unsuccessful. I was passed to the media specialist who passed me to the superuser. He searched my preferences and settings and identified that malware had been attached to something that we downloaded which was interfering with all my Apple apps. (I couldn't open apple music, apple podcasts, apple books, or apple apps.)
With his assistance, I downloaded malware bytes malware remover and scanned the computer, which identified and removed the malware. Once that was completed, we restarted the system and VOILA, everything is back to normal.

I tried doing this, but it sadly hasn't fixed the issue for me.
Same here, also after signing up for Apple One trial. Only had iTunes Match.
Please remove the 'solved' flag - malware is not the issue!

Malware is not the answer, happened to me after adding music from a playlist to my library and click on the previous track button to look for a song that I was listening to
LOL. Was expecting a fix with new update 12.2.1(21D62) and it was just a waste of time to expect such thing from Apple.
