SOLVED iPhone 13 cannot swipe screen

I bought a new iPhone 13 had it for a few days and I couldn’t swipe screen. Somethings worked but very buggy. I had to use Siri to open pages. To solve problem I transferred back to my old phone with Bluetooth (this took a lot of trial and error)

I almost gave up and then I shut down all my open pages on my old phone (which was a copy of new phone) and suddenly new phone worked again!

iPhone XS swipe not working I cannot swipe to answer calls (bottom of screen) or swipe to turn the phone off (top of the phone). Those areas of the screen work for every other touch function, including keyboards and swiping from one Home Screen to the next, so it’s not obviously a hardware problem. I’ve reset the phone, including a factory reset, and upgraded to the latest iOS. I’ve also removed the screen protector. Has anyone encountered the same issue?

I can no longer swipe up to close an app on an iPhone 12 I can no longer swipe up to close an app on an iPhone 12. The app is stuck open. Trying to do a shut down holding the volume buttons and the button on the other side has called 911 twice. It will not connect to a Mac to do a restore as well. It is just stuck. I can swipe down to get notifications and turn on and off Wifi and bluetooth.
