My left AirPod sent a signal But eventually stopped I try to look for them walking around but no luck I want to know if someone found them and rename then can they use it ?? Also when I click in make them sound to find then a message comes out saying that some one could be using them if I still want to play the sound cause could be discomfort

Yes, unfortunately, it would be relatively simple for someone to "reuse" your AirPods if they know what they are doing.

Just for future reference, to attempt to find lost or stolen AirPods, the following must be true:

  • Find My iPhone must have been enabled BEFORE they were lost or stolen.
  • The AirPods are within range of your devices (iOS or macOS). Alternatively, they would need to be near any Apple device that the user has enabled "Find My Network" on.
  • They are not in their charging case.
  • They are still charged.
  • The AirPods have not been reset.
