Group Chat - Can't leave

Apple support have an article online that may help:

Leave a group text message on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

NB: Hide Alerts stops notifications for a specific group text message,

but not for all the messages on your device.

You'll still receive all other messages and notifications.

Sorry that "Hide Alerts" hasn't helped.

I don't know of any other way to leave a group chat.

You might want to contact Apple Support to find out what Apple staff suggest.
