Apple TV on older LG TV

I have an LG TV EG9600 and a subscription to Apple TV. I have an iPhone, iPad and Mac. I was given a chrome cast device to stream photos and TV programs. I can not get Apple TV to cast from my phone to the TV using chrome cast! Or by casting from my iPhone!! Any suggestions?

I don’t have chromecast with Google TV. That’s my problem! I didn’t know there was a difference. I was hoping there was an easy fix or work around using Apple 13Pro phone and my outdated LG tv
