How can I watch a show on my TV? I'm in the Apple TV app. My only options are in up next and how to watch. No option to start watching. I subscribed a half hour ago. Should I give it more time?

I see now that certain movies say play; others just say "how to watch". Do you have to pay extra to see these movies? One is from 2014. The movie I'm trying to see is "Free Guy", but I can't .

I have a Sony smart tv, before I could make purchases, rent/buy films, but now it says “How to watch” instead. So I guess it has changed recently?
I have since made my purchases on the app on my phone and its then available on the tv app, it’s just strange that I cannot do it anymore.
On Amazon Fire TV devices, you can't purchase content from the Apple TV app. You can purchase content on another supported device to watch it in the Apple TV app on your Amazon Fire TV device.
Yes, unfortunately the situation for Android TV/Sony has changed since about March 18, I guess (modification date of the referencing support article). The change surprised me as well.
