How to remove incorrect iPhone storage almost full notifications?

Ever since a recent update to iOS 15, I’ve been getting a notification in settings that says “iPhone storage almost full.” I have 90.2 GB used out of 128 GB. How is 70% “almost full?” I click the notice to see its recommendations, and click “not now.” The badge notification goes away for a few seconds then pops back up again.
