mystery apps -- benign?

4 apps on my partner's computer that she knows nothing about and is not aware of using and that are not on my computer. They are in the Applications folder (not Utilities therein). They share an icon that looks like a magnifying glass on a teal background. Names: DynamicGrid, AdjustableControl, PlatformCache, AccessibleSection. This is an M1 Macbook Air running OS 12.1

Scan with Malwarebytes for Mac:

Start with running a scan for malware, using Malwarebytes for Mac and remove what is found. Perhaps something was installed that made this occur. Remove what is found from the quarantine. Malware is short for: Malicious Software, which makes you computer act in a mislead manor.

Downloads:

  1. Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for Mac
  2. Malwarebytes Uninstaller
