Indicator light on Mag2 charger for my MacBook Air is green when I first plug it in to my laptop, but within seconds turns amber. This is a recent development

Amber means it's charging, which sometimes it will do even if the battery shows 98% charge. Does it stay this way. Hold down the option key and click on the battery icon. it should say Condition:Normal.
