iphone 12 ford sync

my iPhone will connect; when you answer the phone the sound is low. You can barely hear the person, no matter what you do with settings on phone or Sync. How do you get phone call sound. I have resorted to an external bluetooth device for the car.

Why can't I make or receive calls with iPhone 14 Pro in my car? ios asking which device to use for audio but only iPhone is on line When placing a call, my iPhone is now asking if I want to use the speaker, iphone, or my Rav4 vehicle. My car is parked in garage and turned off. I went and checked and it is not running nor is ignition nor accessories turned on. The default is Rav4 car. I have to change to audio every time I want to make a call. The bluetooth shows no other devices conected. Something broke in 14.0.1

Welcome to Apple Support Communities.

We understand that your sound is low when connected to your car. Check with your car manual or manufacturer to make sure it is running the latest firmware. Be sure iPhone is also running the latest software. Pair iPhone with a different Bluetooth device to make sure sound is playing at the correct volume.
