I have iphone mini 12. I recently broke the screen and, for speed, got a non apple screen replacement which is fine - I then got a 'unknown part' message in settings which I have read a number of times but cannot get rid of the notification on screen about the message - can anyone help - it is really annoying!

You will never be able to get rid of that.
The only way to get rid of it would be to have the display replaced by Apple or an authorized service provider with a genuine Apple display.
It is unlikely in the extreme that they will agree to do so now that your phone has been tampered with.
You will have to live with it, or buy a new phone.
"Tampered with" means replaced by anyone other than Apple with non-authentic Apple Parts.
No, I understand. The notice in Settings will be there forever and cannot be removed. If you're happy with the screen on your phone, just ignore it. It's not like you spend a lot of time in the settings app.
