Icloud for windows.

I have 2 windows computers, one has windows 10 and the other windows 11.

Here's the scenario:

I went into the my devices section on my iPhone and removed these two devices from my account.

Once removed icloud on the windows 10 device popped up asking me to re-enter my apple ID and password. As soon as I enter my password it gives me the below error.

I did a clean install of windows 11 on the windows 11 device and installed icloud on that device. As soon as I type in my apple id and password it gives me the exact same error as the windows 10 device as seen below.

On both devices I have tried doing both a repair and an uninstall / install of icloud. And it still gives the same error on both devices.

Any suggestions?

I was on the phone with Apple support, and it is a known issue. They are not sure if it was introduced with recent upgrades to windows or if it is on Apples side. I downloaded some Windows 11 upgrades on Tuesday, and I notice the problem on Wednesday night. Reinstalling Icloud for Windows did not help. I am waiting to see if there is a fix from either Apple or Microsoft.
